Apologies for being MIA recently all, I’ve been getting seriously stuck in with my new job – life update with details on all that coming soon, but I’m making a serious vow to myself to not slack on the blog from now on, promise!
I’ll start with my mini March beauty haul.
Benefit isn’t a brand that I’d usually incorporate into my makeup bag, simply because some of the products are out of my price range. However, since launching its go-to brow products, I’m in-love!
A couple of week’s ago, I was invited along to Lush’s first-ever blogger event at Manchester’s Arndale Centre. The Blogger’s Beauty School was a chance for Lush lovers to get together and discuss all things beauty, hair and product related. We even got the chance to get messy and create our own Lush products.
When it comes to make up, I’ve always said the product you should spend the most money on, aside from your basic skincare kit, is a good foundation.
On Tuesday night, I was invited to celebrate the launch of Vicky Pattinson’s new hair extension range- Hair Revolution. Hosted at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, the night was filled with Prosecco and primping, from hair styling to massages this was the ladies night I needed!
Lush has been on the scene for years, and with it now becoming more and more of an ‘Instagram Aesthetic’, it’s becoming harder to ignore it. When your best friend is also a transforming Vegan, it’s even more difficult to ignore the hype when she talks about the brand so enthusiastically, non-stop.
Makeup, the angel’s gift, but the devils work to remove. Our skin is so precious and the amount of chemicals us girls slap on it day-to-day is unbelievable! After a busy day at work, I love nothing more than getting home, getting into my jim-jams, shoving my hair up and chilling out with a brew. Sometimes, our busy schedule gets in the way of our skin care routine, but I think I’ve found two quick and effective products to maintain my bedtime cleanse.
